Cedric Watson - Creole Moon: Live from the Blue Moon Saloon

Twice GRAMMY-nominated Cedric Watson returned to his roots in Louisiana after growing up in Sealy, Texas so he could develop his Creole music in the towns and pastures where his predecessors once played. One of the most noted young talents to emerge in Cajun or Creole music in the past few years, Cedric Watson is a fiddler, vocalist, accordionist and songwriter of seemingly unlimited potential. Now Cedric is exploring the roots of Louisiana’s Creole music with his own band, Bijou Creole, playing a variety of old-school zydeco styles, original material and Creole traditionals. This LIVE recording from performances at Lafayette’s Blue Moon Saloon captures the energy and excitement that characterize Cedric’s performances and have resulted in his booming popularity among fans of all ages.
