Corey Ledet - A Matter of Time

 A Matter of Time is a remarkable achievement by a young man who has both the talent and the heart to celebrate Zydeco in all of its varieties. Corey "Lil Pop" Ledet has been setting local Zydeco and Cajun dance halls & festival stages on fire for a while now. And whether he's playing his single row or piano key accordion, Corey's music ranges in style from old-time Creole and Zydeco to music done his own way. A Matter of Time showcases this ability, featuring a nice variety of original, traditional and cover songs performed by Corey. All of these are done well, of course, but the biggest surprise is Corey’s fired up Zydeco interpretation of Elvis Presley’s “Burning Love.” Released in May 2009, 15 tracks, including:
