True to their Cajun background, the Ossun Playboys perform traditional tunes, but they also like to experiment a little in pushing the limits of Cajun music. That mixture of old and new is available on Pour la premiere fois, the award-winning album released by Swallow Records. The album took home both Album of the Year and Song of the Year at the CFMA LeCajun Awards held in 2000, which is a grammy-style awards ceremony sponsored by the Cajun French Music Association, held annually in Lafayette, Louisiana.
