Le Band Passe Partout, founded by Joe Lirette in 1990, has strived to acquire a special sound for a Cajun band that would attract young and old, and in so doing the band members themselves are a blend of young and old. Cajun Sentiment is the band's first CD on Swallow Records. In 1993 they took home Album of the Year at the CFMA's LeCajun Awards.
